How do I enable the Verbatype keyboard?

On iPhone: open the Settings app → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard… → Verbatype. The Verbatype app also walks you through this step on the Keyboard screen. After adding it, switch to it once in any app (tap and hold the globe key, or tap it repeatedly) to finish activating it.

Do I need to grant "Full Access"?

No — Full Access is not required for the keyboard to type. It's only needed so the keyboard can receive the text from a dictation you made in the main Verbatype app. The keyboard makes no network requests of its own and does not log, read, or transmit what you type; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Does Verbatype work offline?

Yes. On-device recognition runs on your iPhone or Mac and works with no network connection — it's unlimited and free on every tier. An optional cloud pass can improve accuracy when you're online; on iPhone it's off until you turn it on in Settings, and on Mac it currently runs automatically whenever you're online. Either way, on-device dictation always gives you a result.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → "Data & Privacy" → "Delete account," on iPhone or on Mac. This deletes your dictation history, custom dictionary, weekly reports, and usage records from our server, and erases your local history, local audio, and the account identifier on that device. It cannot be undone. Details, including what's retained for accounting and why, are in the Privacy Policy.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases go through Apple's In-App Purchase system, and refunds are handled by Apple — we don't have the ability to issue them ourselves. Request one at Apple's Report a Problem page.
